Arnon Dror is the Senior Operations Executive at Janus Technologies. Before being named the head of operations for the tech firm, Dror held leadership roles in fiancé and strategy in several big companies. He is originally from Israel but currently resides in Portland Oregon.
Joining Janus Technology, he has quickly taken a spearheading role in leveraging technology and business to help the company achieve its main objective of providing innovative frameworks for enterprise security solutions.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, a Masters in Micro Economics and an MBA in Finance from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. As a specialist in finance, he has had an illustrious career at top management level, being at the forefront of various companies including through their turnarounds and acquisitions.
Arnon has worked with companies such as Kodak, Xerox, Scitex, Creo and Presstek in various capacities that have seen him expand his skill set. He leads with experience and expertise in finance & strategy planning, financial and business modeling, internal controls, change management, systems and technology, supply chain optimization, negotiations, cash flow management and ERP integration, among others.
In his roles as Vice president, Chief financial officer and treasurer at Presstek, he played a significant role in rescuing the firm from running into bankruptcy. He spearheaded negotiations of the sale of Presstek Inc. to a private equity firm at a 20% premium. Moreover, he led the company to meet NASDAQ reporting requirements for the first time in years.
Arnon has demonstrated his effective management skills in his ability to manage multi-functional teams and achieve higher levels of efficiency, operational effectiveness and productivity. He has also been able to streamline operations across private, public, domestic as well as global firms of all sizes to deliver outstanding results in cost savings, margins, customer satisfaction and freeing up cash flow.
Prior to working with Presstek, Arnon worked with Kodak as director of global operations, graphic communications and consumer digital groups before climbing up the ladder to the position of the director of worldwide channel management. During his time there, he pioneered the launch of a global channel management strategy across the film, graphic communications and consumer segments on behalf of Kodak leading to tremendous growth through the availability of sales tools, training and incentive programs. His efforts also led to stronger partnerships and significant improvements in revenue.
His prowess as an operations expert saw him eliminate 450 positions and 29 distribution centers for Kodak without compromising the company’s operational effectiveness.
As the corporate VP of finance at Creo, he led the company’s Corporate Finance Team through a sale of the company to Kodak for $1B, managed regional operations and finance while still maintaining executive accountability for the operations and finance activities on a global scale.
